How shower gels work

Next, the surfactant molecules encircle the oil and dirt particles, forming spherical structures called micelles, with the water-loving heads facing outwards and the oil-loving tails trapping the oil and dirt within the micelle. Once you start rinsing off the lathered shower gel, those water-loving heads of the surfactants enable the micelles to be carried away effortlessly by the water, rinsing away the dirt and oil from our skin, and leaving you feeling clean and refreshed.
